Ms. Ewa Sułek, a PhD student at the Academia Copernicana Interdisciplinary Doctoral School has been awarded the Fulbright Junior Research Award 2021-2022 for her research project “Museology and Curatorial Strategies in War-torn Post-Soviet Kyiv”.
In her project, Ms. Sułek looks at the transformation of cultural space of Ukraine, using the postcolonial methods and theories, topophilia and the phenomenology of architecture.
The aim is to study cultural institutions and their architecture as places and forms of collective and cultural memory and spaces of postcolonial and post-Soviet transformations.
As a Fulbright scholar Ms. Sułek will spend four months at the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University.
